Some people eat meat. This meat may be from sheep, cows or chickens. Now, in Singapore, people can eat another, different meat. They call it ‘clean meat’. This meat is not from real animals. It doesn’t come from a farm.
Scientists make ‘clean meat’ in a laboratory. They grow meat without an animal. Eat Just is a small company in San Francisco. It makes ‘clean’ chicken meat.
Many people don’t like eating real animals. They want to stay healthy. They want to help the environment. But ‘clean meat’ is difficult to make. It is very expensive too.
Now, you can buy ‘clean meat’ in Singapore. Eat Just can make a lot of clean chicken. They will make chicken nuggets with the meat.
This new ‘clean’ meat is big business. In the future, it will make a lot of money. Now, you can buy it in Singapore. Soon, other countries may sell clean meat too.
