Ganesha - 18th September 2019
Last week saw the end of the 11-day festival honouring the Hindu elephant god Ganesha.
In Mumbai, India, Hindu worshippers filled the streets with thousands of highly decorated images and statues of Ganesha. They carried the statues to the Arabian Sea or to ponds to immerse them in the water to say farewell to the god.
It's an important festival for all Hindus.
Man 1: "People come together, worship and they pray for their prosperity and good health for the year to come."
It is a colourful end to these annual celebrations.
